Seeking Talent From Across Canada* to be the new voice of 'Rubble'
in the hit animated series "RUBBLE & CREW"
*TALENT MUST RESIDE AND BE ABLE TO LEGALLY WORK IN CANADA
No previous acting experience is required. If you have already auditioned for this role through your agent, do not resubmit at this time.
RUBBLE (Character portrayed is male-presenting, of ANY ethnicity, to play age 8-11). He is our hero - a work hard-play hard kind of dog who is able to sing/rap with confidence. For a vocal reference, a simple google search for 'Rubble & Crew' will provide lots of samples.
TO BE CONSIDERED:
Parents/Guardians: Our goal is to find an actor whose natural voice is close to (or 'in the world of') the actor who is currently voicing this loveable character. To be considered, please send a voice recording of your child introducing themselves to us. The recording should follow this script/format:
Hello..my name is (fill in with your name).
I am (fill in age) years old and I live in (fill in name of city, town and province).
My favourite cartoon is (fill in name of cartoon) because (tell us why).
Next year I will be in grade (fill in grade number) and I go to (name your school).
When I'm not in school one of my favourite things to do is (tell us something you like to do in your spare time and why)

Recording Guidelines: please note that we aren’t looking for studio quality records - an audition recorded on a smart phone will suffice for this stage of the process. When recording, though, please find a quiet place so that you (and those of us listening back) aren’t distracted. Also note: we need you to record on the voice recording feature of your device (not the video recording feature).
Submitting Instructions: Save your recording as an mp3 or mp4 and email to us at the address and by the deadline noted below. In the subject line of your email use: RUBBLE AUDITIONS. We will send you a confirmation that your email has been received. (If you don't hear from us, please send a quick followup email and we will check our spam folder). We will review all submissions but (as we anticipate a large number of applicants), will only respond to those selected to provide further audition information.
